The building form reflected the change in direction of Douglas Street at this location. The building was designed to project a high-tech finish reflective of the bio-genetic laboratories and scientific operation for the premises.

The vertical aerodynamic aluminium blades add emphasis and drama to the elegant curve of the façade.
