The State Office for Tyco included combining various operational sectors of their business into one premises. Their new premises includes two levels of office space providing corporate presentation to the street and warehousing to the rear.

The building was designed with the innovative reuse of an existing warehouse portal frame for economy of construction. Following construction of the first floor, the lower portion of the portal frame along the front façade was removed to achieve the recessed ground floor façade and emphasise the upper floor projection.
