Enfolded in the arms of the Noosa National Park Nature Reserve on its northern and eastern boundaries this is a house that sits comfortably within its environment of bush and beach. Anchored to the hillside, the house provides privacy, protection from the harsh western sun, and maximum views to bush and sea. This house has been designed not only to complement its surroundings but to 'work' efficiently within that environment. The materials, colours and landscaping have been carefully chosen to further link the house to its environment. The building materials are predominantly timber with externally a mixture of timber and driftwood colours. The colours of the surrounding vegetation, the beach sand and the ocean blue are echoed internally.
